Even though Dr. Shessel and his team do a great job with diagnoses and treatment, you must be on the lookout for the scheduling and billing of needless office visits. I had two office visits that lasted less than a minute only to tell me information that they covered over the phone. Waste of copays and insurance. I would not recommend him due to this issue.
Dr. Shessel is thoughtful, to the point, and detail-oriented. He identified a medical problem for me another urologist had missed.
Dr. Shessel is very professional, answers questions clearly and explains procedures before doing them. I would reacommend him to my family and friends.
I found Dr. Shessel to be an excellent Dr. There is usually no wait time upon arrival @ the office. The facility is extremely clean & the office personnel polite & courteous. I have had a surgical procedure with Dr. Shessel as my Dr. All went well & I had a speedy recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Shessel to anyone.
Frederick Shessel, MD has excellent clinical skills and superb bedside manners. He assisted me in making the appropriate decision with two Urology health issues that I have. He delineated the different management options with their benefits and risks in an organized manner. Since I drove 110 miles for a second opinion and I was so impressed with him that I am now switching my primary Urology care to him. Since I am retired physician myself in another specialty, this review carry extra value.

I am very pleased with the care and recommendations that I am receiving from Dr. Shessel so far,and happy with the quick appointment turnaround.
Dr Shessel is the BEST urologist bar none especially for women! I have spent most of my 66 years vexed by urinary related issues. I have been to many doctors in many states and have recommended out of state friends and relatives to Dr Shessel. The entire staff is professional and take very good care of your needs there.
The office is totally professional, as is Dr. Shessel. I highly recommend him, and I have been to many doctors of many different specialties.
