Fred Meyer is really "One Stop Shopping"! We really like to shop at Fred Meyer. It's nice to be able to buy groceries, hardware, and gardening supplies, all at the same stop. My husband also says that they have an excellent DVD selection, and good prices.

Remodel is great change I really like the Fred Meyer is South Salem. I love the way the store is set up after the remodel. They are on the expensive side but I always can find what I am looking for there. It would be nice to use the free child care, if only my child would go in. I have had only one bad experience with a checker there. Everyone else has been easy to work with. Plently of parking. Don't like the bottle returns so far away from the store.
Good selection of natural food items This is the location to shop if you're looking for health food items. They have a much better selection than I've found at other Fred Meyer stores. The staff is very helpful in locating items as well.
They have everything! Fred Meyer is great. They have everything you need so you dont have to waste time going to multiple stores. Since the remodel, it is a lot more organized and is a lot easier to find things. All the employees are very helpful.
Nice Remodeling! Fred Meyer in Salem is pretty great now that they remodeled. I pretty much didn't shop there but now that they have a play area for kids and the store is a lot bigger (and you don't have to drive up the street to their sporting goods) it's more convenient. parking is also a lot better now too.
Good Organic Section Not only is Fred Meyer a one-stop shop covering everything from your groceries, diapers, clothes, household items, cleaning products, outdoor plants, seasonal goods and more, but to top it off, they have a pretty good selection of organic products and some fair prices too (but some things are overpriced)
They have child care!! I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have free childcare for one hour. I am a very cautious mother when it comes to leaving my kids places, but felt very comfortable with the setup and the attendant on duty. My girls had a good time and didn't want to leave.
Fred Meyer When you need everything in one trip, this is the place to go. However, their prices are a bit steep and the same product can be found for cheaper elsewhere.
