These people are unconscionable. I walked in to Fred Beans Subaru to purchase a manual transmission sedan on Good Friday (not sure why they were working to begin with, but whatever.) I spoke with a nice man who agreed to look at financing options for me while I visited my cousin. I purchased a brand-new Platinum F-150 from Fred Beans of Newtown in February 2021. At 3,000 miles I needed a new transmission. Within the first year, I also needed a new battery followed by a new axle a few months later. Now Fred Beans’ technician is telling me I need a new engine – at 50,000 miles!
