This is an outstanding example of farm to table. The restaurant has excellent relationships with local farms and dairies. Wine selection and sommelier knowledge was exceptional.
The food was small and mostly covered with leaves and flowers. We ordered the flight of wine that pairs with each course and consistently we were struggling to drink slow enough.
I have eaten at a lot of fine restaurants, but Frasca is the best restaurant hands down I have ever experienced. My waitress even showed me the wine preparation area and the kitchen. What a thrill. Everyone there knows all about the food and wine. I am so impressed. I look forward to returning on our next trip to Boulder!
If you love food and great wine, go! I hope that we didn't embarrass yourself by finishing our plates.

Outstanding dinner at Frasca. The carapaccio, quail gnocchi, and beef with sunchoke purée were out of this world! Got inspired and will make our own buttermilk ricotta tortellini tonight. Service was impeccable and the sommelier helped us find a very close cousin to our favorite Italian wine. If they'd let me into the kitchen, I'd add some fruit (figs or sage poached pears) to the dessert cheese plate and make a blood-orange-sangiovese reduction for the cheesecake instead of the nutty sauce.
