I come here quite often but the early bird special is even more special includes salad and dessert! And they make a good Manhattan.
The parking was terrible. We made a reservation and were seated in a timely manor. As we sat and waited for out table. The hostess, an older woman seemed to have a bit of an attitude when answering the phone. She also knew who her regulars where when they came in for a table. She also had no problem "trash talking" other costumers that sat at the bar, to the regulars while they waited for their tables. The service was mediocre at best. The food was good. Great restaurant!!! Food very enjoyable but best part is meeting people from the old neighborhood.
Excellent food, terrific prices! If you can get a set at the bar on Friday Night, Michelle and Rudy make it worth your while- fun and funny. Old school place with classic dishes and fun people.
Love the petit filet melts in your mouth, and affordable for families
Our go to place. Bruce loves steak and Franks always treats him right.
I always come in here when working in alewife. Great food at even better prices.
