They are able to get you in and out very quickly.
The current manager Gary is a very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic and an awesome guy who takes the time to describe the problems and discuss options.
Frank's is an amazing service shop in downtown San Clemente. Family owned and operated, this place feels more honest, fair, and wholesome than going to any generic, corporate service center. They also have access to a larger network including Frank's body shops, sister dealerships, and other services. They're a place that can accommodate any auto needs. I would recommend Frank's to anyone who is fed up with getting gouged by big box service centers and is looking for a little extra customer service. These guys also do a grea... read more
I wanted to buy a 1998 Mercedes SL500 and in checking the internet I found several around the Southwest area. The one that interested me the most, was a sport model at Franks Motorcars in Laguna beach CA. I contacted them by phone and talked to Larry Freligh over several days. Larry was very knowledgeable, helpful and informed me this was probably the best SL500 on the market. We decided to arrange a trip to look at the car and put a refundable deposit to hold it. So Monday the 10th of November we drove to the dealership and... read more
I have a 2002 BMW 330 Convertible and wouldnt you know on the freeway ALL the dash lights came on (including the limp home sun symbol next to the tranny indicator light... Ahhhhh crap... This sucks.. Well the car kept driving fine all the way home with those lights staring me in the face... (you know the feeling). Turned the car off and on at home as the owners manual says to see if the limp home mode light goes off AND IT DID--- So the only light on is the battery light.
Very friendly and helpful guy!
I have been a customer of Frank's for 7 years. I purchased my wife's Mercedes from Frank's and take both her car and my Porsche there for regular service. And for any repairs. They do beautiful paint work too. Frank's knows these cars and they make owing them affordable. Thank you Franks!
Been taking my car to Frank's since around 2009 - worked with 3 different managers over the years and each one was honest, straightforward and patient... and did I mention honest? SO thankful for a mechanic close by whom I can count on to NOT over-charge, over-estimate, over-suggest... etc. but just diagnose my issues and offer affordable options and not constantly try to up-sell me on unnecessary "preventative" measures, etc.... The current manager Gary is a very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic and an awesome guy who... read more
