Dr Van Gemert is incompetent. If not for her NP, Candace Jackson, seeing me the day the doctor was out, I would have died within 24 hrs. The Van Gemert had been continually treating me for over 2 1/2 mths, and misdiagnosed me. Thankfully, the NP immediately caught the problem, arranged an emergency inpatient room for me. Once admitted I had sepsis and went into septic shock. I do not recommend Dr Van Gemert to anyone.
