Dr. Hardin has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry in Chapel Hill since 2007 with the goal of engineering a dental practice where both children AND their parents would feel comfortable. Dr. Shauna joined the practice in 2019. Dr. Hardin & Dr. Shauna both strive to treat every patient and family as if it were their own. Our staff is dedicated to creating a fun, safe atmosphere to deliver compassionate care to your family!

Always excellent My two daughters have been coming here for over a year now. Everyone at the practice is always the best - from the office staff to the hygienists to the dentists. Everyone is super friendly (great for building the confidence of little ones), knowledgeable, and my daughters' teeth always come out looking great! Both Dr. Hardin and Dr. Katie do a great job helping my daughters learn how to best take care of their teeth. My girls always look forward to going to the dentist!
My children and I love this dentistry! The whole staff is wonderful. We are always greeted by smiling faces and treated so nicely. I feel so comfortable trusting these Dentists and dental assistants with my children's dental health. I am given a thorough update on the condition of my children's teeth and what they need to work on going forward. Also, the kids love that they get a token to receive a prize at the end of their visit. They look forward to that!

We've been to SVPD twice now with our 3 yr old daughter. They are soooooo good with kids and understanding how to encourage and reassure them throughout the entire process -- from the moment they greet us at reception to the moment we check out. We feel lucky to have a place like this nearby!

Dr. Hardin and her staff always provide a warm and educational environment for my daughter and myself. They are never rushed and that is so helpful in allowing for a positive pediatric dental encounter, and they always allow adequate time to answer questions. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so!
