Dr. Hardin has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry in Chapel Hill since 2007 with the goal of engineering a dental practice where both children AND their parents would feel comfortable. Dr. Shauna joined the practice in 2019. Dr. Hardin & Dr. Shauna both strive to treat every patient and family as if it were their own. Our staff is dedicated to creating a fun, safe atmosphere to deliver compassionate care to your family!

Great service EVERYTHING is great in the office!!!
We LOVE Southern Village Pediatric Dentistry. Our sons enjoy going to the dentist owing the the staff's kind demeanor and their confident and comprehensive care (the reward station also helps!). I would not hesitate to recommend this group to anyone, particularly families with children who have special needs, including sensory difficulties, other autistic characteristics, and / or anxiety.

My son had a perfect and very supportive introduction to the dentist's office, his technician could not have been warmer and more encouraging!

Dr. Hardin and the team there have taken great care of Aidan during the last several years. In addition to the comprehensive preventive care they've given my son, when he had an accident that damaged a tooth, they took him immediately, and when they realized he needed a specialist, they quickly set us up with a good one. They file insurance too. One less headache for me. It's nice that neither one of us dreads the visit to the dentist.
