I am writing this review a few years after my surgery with Dr. Mirrer. My shoulder was hurt with a labrum tear in 2018, I had two surgeries by other surgeons in the Rhode Island area; 2 surgeons and two surgeries and they never fixed the original problem, they removed a bone and then fused that bone back in after their realized their mistake. Office is poorly managed. Three weeks to transcribe office notes before a pre-autorization could be subitted. So much time passed they forgot PA was needed, we had to call many times and then they did not send the proper documentation for the authorization. Dr. Mirror refused a peer to peer reconsideration delaying my son's care. To work with this office you need to be on top of it, they drop the ball and the office manager has a nasty attitude. No one needs this when not feeling well.
Dr mirrer has done three of my knee surgeries- he is professional and kind and knows his craft like no other- unfortunately, I am now having shoulder pain and waiting to see results- I wouldn’t trust anyone except for this dr- his staff is amazing and accommodating. This is the best staff and Dr. hands down-
Taking fluid out of left knee monthly after doing surgery for several years, talked about another MRI he refused, my new insurance wouldn't take him so went to South County Orthopedics, they.redid the surgery and I was walking and everything in less pain then I was before the surgery. He will pressure you to go to his PT place, DO NOT GO, pick your own.
