Best Cafe in Boston Simply say, Franklin Cafe is my favorite cafe and it the best in Boston. I like going there and having delicious dishes.
South End Hot Spot The Franklin Cafe is a very small hot spot in the south of the South End. They have a very limited menu but that doesn't stop people from coming weekly. It is quite trendy for its particular location. The food is raved about by many but I wouldn't say it is the most amazing menu out there. It's a fun bar to hang out at in the evening.
Night Spot Franklin Cafe is known as an incredible after hours place. It stays open until 2 am and serves incredible food. It is a cozy spot that is modern yet not uptight. Definitely a place to come with friends and hang out at the beautiful bar.

Great bar, great food Franklin Cafe remains on the short list of best places for cocktails and dinner in the city. The no smoking policy in Boston has made Franklin even more appealing because the air doesn't get so thick in the the dark, windowless interior. Best idea is to let go of the clock watching and head there with a plan of good conversation over drinks while waiting for a table.
Bartender is great, except she is only one person. We came on Friday night and sat at the bar. I could probably brew my beer faster than the waitress/bartender could serve it. Please get more staff!
