We were there to celebrate a birthday on a Thursday evening. We have had many, many pizzas delivered and enjoyed every one of them. This was our first actual visit to the restaurant. The place was packed so the wait staff was extremely frazzled (understandably). 2 of our food orders came our way before our appetizer did and my order came out 10 minutes after that. Just had Italian beef sandwich smoked potato salad and kettle chips, massive and awesome, I don't even like potato salad but I ate this one
We used to love Frankie's, but the staff and the food quality is not what it used to be. Two orders of chicken strips this past weekend proved that, obviously overdone, dark brown and dry. But of course we didn't see that till we were home, there's $20 worth of crap. Disappointing for a neighborhood bar.
Painfully slow service - food was served Luke warm.
Great atmosphere and good pizza. Squishy Mud was awesome, too.
Our group was treated very poorly when we went to Frankie's for lunch. Despite the place being basically empty, the waitress was extremely outright rude and we heard her tell the cook that we were annoying. We also saw her take a shot at the bar with a few customers; not sure if that's allowed or what, but we will not be back to this establishment.
Great food, awesome service, and the owner is the best!
