Very intelligent, professional, all with a human face, making one feel comfortable during a trying period. I will always recommend Dr. Valone for any procedure dealing with the spine.
I recently had surgery with Dr. Valone. It was so simple and easy to schedule. The entire team (JP, James, and others) has been incredible on the follow up even giving me their cell phones if I needed something right away. I had a microdiscectomy and was walking around the next day. So grateful for them and their care.
Frank Valone is an excellent doctor and surgeon with a great bedside manner. His office staff is very responsive. Prior to surgery it would be helpful if patients were a little more fully advised of the different post surgical conditions which might be experienced (none, a little, severe neuropathy) and the potential timeline for such conditions. That said such information is likely on the internet.
After being referred to Dr. Valone the tests were run, he saw me within days of getting the results, X Rays and immediately explained the issue, the significance of immediate action, got the surgery scheduled, all of this a few days before Christmas. His team was perfect, kept me informed and calm, got the hospital worked out and surgery went without a single issue. He is very friendly in his demeanor and proficient and professional. I had a lumbar micro-decompression. The good: excellent medical care. Everyone in the practice was nice and skillful. The bad: it took months to get the initial evaluation appointment. And they didn't quite communicate how much pain there would be post surgery. Still, I would recommend him and his practice.
