I was fitted for dentures about 4 years ago. My bottom plate was anchored to two remaining teeth. Two weeks later the tooth lost it's cap and I was not able to wear the bottom plate due to nerve pain. My uppers sit crooked and are very loose fitting. After paying three grand, I am not a happy camper. My parent got their false teeth back in the 50's and never needed denture adhesive while I have to use it sometimes twice a day.
