I took my son to the ER at UCLA Westwood yesterday, and he was dismissed and discharged without proper care by Dr. Day. This doctor spent more time telling me why he can't and won't page the GI doc than actually examining my son. Here we are, a day later, and my son is worse. When the doctor dismisses your child, because "they are busy and have more urgent natters" and you have to go back again the next day, that is above and beyond negligence. If you end up in the ER, and this doctor is assigned to your case, RUN!
