We could not be more grateful to Dr Cordasco and his entire team for all that was done for our daughter after she tore her ACL. It was very reassuring to have Dr Cordasco's skill and expertise and his team guiding us through a very stressful and debilitating injury. We are so very appreciative.
When my son tore his ACL, we were encouraged by the first doctor he saw near his school in CA to undertake an experimental technique. When we had a second evaluation from Dr. Cordasco, he let us know that the new technique had a high failure rate in patients of his age group. In addition, the alternative technique recommended to us was not appropriate since my son’s growth plates were still open.Dr. Cordasco and his team did a phenomenal job preparing my son for his surgery, making sure the procedure went well, designing an ... read more
Dr. Cordasco and his team at HSS told me to expect a return to sport within 6-9 months and sure enough I was cleared to play basketball 2 weeks before the 9 month mark!! They showed my family and I care, concern, respect, professionalism and expertise! Many many thanks to Dr. Cordasco and his team at HSS!!
I wouldn’t trust my child with any other surgeon. Staff is also amazing! His PA is wonderful! highly recommend!
Dr Cordasco listened to my concerns and was very straight forward on what needed to be done.. I found him patient, thorough and caring.. In the end he did an outstanding job performing surgery. I could not do a single pushup pre surgery 6 months post surgery I was working out, surfing and playing tennis pain free.
I can’t criticize the care I received at the hospital at time of my rotator cuff surgery however the follow up appointments were terrible. They insist you get there a half hour early and yet I had to wait 1 + hours beyond schedule to be seen. Then it was rushed. 10 minute consult would be generous. Cordasco has a horrible bed side manner. He is a condescending bully who talked over me leaving me feeling like a reprimanded child. When I declined further appointments of abuse with him he cut off my physical therapy and I stron... read more
I underwent surgery with Dr Cordasco for my right shoulder four years ago, which I was advised against. The repair of my right bicep and rotator cuff have never functioned nor felt the same ever since. I live in complete agony because it feels like he re-attached the bicep head to a nerve ending. I live in constant pain and have been unable to find the quality of life I once had. I attempted to have his office fix whatever is bothering me but they insist that there is nothing wrong. The pain has radiated to other parts of my... read more
Dr. Cordasco is a terrific surgeon, caring as well as his whole staff
My appointment was cancelled because of my age 52 and my weight which I am overweight. Doc clearly is not confident in his skills so he chases thin patients and athletes. This hospital clearly discriminates against fat patients. I have been left with no care and am still looking for a surgeon. Sad statement about medicine today. You fat shamed me and broke your oath to do no harm.
