Terrific food and great atmosphere! Everything was fantastic and even had a great conversation with Franco, himself. A true Dayton must!
I love Franco's. The atmosphere is excellent. Food is perfection, hot, tasty fresh. Spaghetti cooked al dente. The wait staff friendly and attentive. The only negative was that the bread was a touch scorched. We didn't feel rushed and the price was perfect.
We have been coming since the late 1970's. Always superb food and service! Hands down, the best meat ravioli in town! You can tell by the pasta and meat filling that it is home made-and these beauties are bursting with meat. GR8 service as always, and as usual, Franco said "Hi!" To us when we were eating! Highly recommend!
Food was good, a little dissapointed when we ordered a bottle of wine. Server had a hard time opening, did not know how to present the bottle, and then bright our salads almost as soon as we recieved our appetizer. I would suggest the restaurant ask their wine rep to give the servers a class for a little more knowledge..
Went with my wife for a Nice New Years Eve Dinner. Got to be honest Service was great but the food was mediocre at best. Had the Prime Rib I have had better at Applebee's. My wife had the Chicken and pasta special and it was just ok. Not worth the 82.00 by any means. If you want a nice atmosphere and great service this is the place, but sadly I have had better food at the Olive Garden.
Have went there for lunch since he opened. It was my fathers favorite lunch destination-- his soups were his favorite.I can brag that 4 generations in my family have ate there.Myself my father my daughters my granddaughter in her twenties +granddaughter 2 years old ate there this Christmas . She gave no review. Every one else loves to go and all think Franco is the best Italian chef period.
Always a treat friendly staff awesome cooks ,it's always a top pick in my family!
