The doctor himself was very nice and seemed caring and helpful. My issue was I waited OVER 2 hours to be seen. 2hours!!! Then he ordered two scans and a follow up. The fu was never scheduled and no one called to go over scans. Okay I get it’s a busy office, but that’s not my fault. Stop taking in so many patients in one day if you can’t meet the needs. There were other patients complaining about the wait too. I can forget the other things but the wait time did it for me. I Will not be back.
Kind, caring and professional. If you are lucky enough to have Dr Ruiz as a Doctor. You will know he is a genuinely good human that cares about you as a person. We see many specialists but none are as efficient, professional and kind as Dr Ruiz. Thank you Dr Ruiz for being such a wonderful person.
Whoever answers the phones in this place is extremely rude. Tries to give you medical advice even though she’s the one asking a bunch of questions about diagnosis, and treating me like I’m a dog that is stupid. I have NEVER been treated so poorly from a receptionist. All I wanted was to be heard during this difficult time and I got treated like dirt with NO compassion whatsoever. DO BETTER. I work for Orlando health and I am hoping she doesn’t treat other patients like this who are trying to schedule an appointment.

My initial "consultation" lasted 5 minutes and the doctor seemed decent, but when he walked into the surgery room, he was arrogant and condescending. Since then, I've called to get the results of the biopsies and have spoken with people who said they'd get back to me and yet I never had a single call returne... read more
I had to wait months for to get a colonoscopy. When the prep didn’t work correctly the first time the procedure had to be rescheduled, but I was given no priority even though I desperately needed it done quickly to qualify for a kidney transplant program. I was sent to the back of the line for more weeks of waiting. When it was finally done I had to fill out paperwork in person to request a third party, Share Care, send my results to my transplant center. That was 60 days ago. Now, after 2 visits to the office and multiple p... read more
