I have been having functionality issues with my arms and it has been suggested that a brachioplasty would help or possibly resolve those problems. I called this office because it is widely known that a brachioplasty (upper arm lift) is considered to be a cosmetic procedure unless there there are significant functionality deficiencies and insurance generally may not approve coverage. I had an abdominoplasty by Dr. Raneri. The procedure left a terrible w-shaped scar on my abdomen and dog ear tags on both sides of my hips. I contacted the office to see what could be done about the terrible scar that would show through my clothes and the dog ears that hung over my underwear. Dr agreed that it was not the outcome she had hoped for and agreed to redo the procedure. Mind you nobody wants to do this twice because it is not an easy procedure to undergo.
