One of the few places on the waterfront to serve brunch, this restaurant specializes in seafood. Brunch service offers such gourmet items as an omelette made with rock shrimp, jack cheese and spinach. Lunch and dinner entrées include Grilled King Salmon, and dried and aged New York Steak. The airy and casual restaurant offers a view of Pier 43 and the wharf. Reservations are recommended for dinner and during the summer months of June through August.

Everything was delicious! And the view to the sea espectacular!!
On of the best sea food restaurants in San Francisco.
Meh...The food was over spiced... And I don't mean heat... Just way to many spices melded into the pot... Couldn't really taste seafood. The crab cakes were good... The best I've had in San Francisco which isn't saying much... They should make it into a meal instead of a side order... Service was good though... Presentation was nice... The atmosphere was great also... But for food... Meh
The clam chowder in the sourdough bowl was absolutely amazing. The view was spectacular as well as the wonderful service. Would totally recommend this to any tourist :)

Love this place. We are get to San Francisco 2-3 times per year. The Franciscan is always a must eat restaurant, food is amazing, service is perfect and yiu cant beat the views!
My fiancé and I had the clam chowder bowl it was delicious. I had the Hannah's strawberry and mint cocktail it was amazing. Will deffinentily be going back there in the future � The staff was awesome as well.
Horrible service. The beer ordered was not cold and when asked for a cold beer we were told that's all they have. When asked for a togo container I was informed they don't have any which was not true. After asking again one magically appeared. Then we asked for separate checks in the very beginning and then at the end of the meal one check was given. We asked again to have them separated to be told it was gonna take him awhile.
