I'll be honest here, I never really heard of Francis Farren before. I think that's because he is a former prosecutor and he has spent years putting people in prison, not defending them. My 18 year old son was charged with Burglary and several other charges. I hired Mr. Farren because I was impressed with his phone book advertisement. Two weeks after I hired him, I received a letter from Mr. Farren informing me that, with no intervention on his part, the State decided to drop my son's charges to misdemeanors at the Preliminary Hearing. I applied for a CCDW permit with Superior Court and was denied. I saw that Mr. Farren helps people appeal this decision with the court so I hired him to do just that. He filed my appeal with Superior Court for me and we both then appeared for a hearing. After the hearing, the judge decided to grant my request for a CCDW permit. I'm really thankful I hired Mr. Farren. He is a great attorney.
I was facing a violation of probation in Superior Court. Reading Mr. Farren's advertisement, I saw that he was a former Probation/Parole Officer so I thought that would help me. And how!! Because of Mr. Farren's experience as a former Probation/Parole Officer, he already had a good working relationship with my PO and was able to get me a really reduced sentence for my case. I've never written one of these before so I'm not really sure what to say. I hired Mr. Farren to represent me for a DUI case...and I'm really glad I did. First, his fee was the best around. I shopped around before hiring Mr. Farren and his fee was the lowest of them all! They say you "get what you pay for" but that's not the case with Mr. Farren. Francis is a great lawyer who did an amazing job representing me in court. He got my 4 charges reduced to 1 even though a witness showed up to testify against me. If you have been caught by the police and are considering getting a lawyer I highly recommend hiring Francis. Trust me when I say that his services are worth it and you will not be disappointed.
I am a junior at the University of Delaware and I was charged with Underage Possession/Consumption of Alcohol. This charge, by itself, isn't very serious; however, because I had prior offenses with UD, I was looking at a one-year suspension from school! I don't know how he did it but Mr. Farren was able to work out a deal whereby the school didn't find out about this offense, preventing me from being suspended. I'm really thankful my parents found, and hired, Mr. Farren to represent me.
