I am residing at one of the affordable housing apartments for seniors in Antioch. It seems to be quite difficult for the remainder of these units to be leased. Our concern here is that we are NOW hearing because of this issue; the empty new units in the senior section will be up for lease to anyone qualifying whether they are seniors or not. Our sole purpose was to move into these very nice apartments for one reason ONLY it’s for seniors. This may be just talk we are hearing but we are truly concerned and would like some c... read more

ello, my name Maryetta Watkins I'm a tenant at Douglaus Park Apartments Unit 1200B Managed by FPI Management. I have been reporting to management for 2 1/2 years about flooding in my unit when it rain. Adrian Lopez told me that on December 24th, 2021, that he had several calls about the floors and water and that someone will get back to me. every other day was the same thing. A new manager came in by the name of Christian Torres in March 2022 I reported the same situation to him, and he informed me that he would contact his ... read more

FPIs really needs to listen to its renters. I need to speak to the manager/president/owner of Stephanie B from the Folsom office. I’m extremely disturbed by her words and mistreatment of all colors of life. It makes me sad to read what FPI stands for yet they are the opposite. I sent a request to speak to the President and I was told I have to talk to Stephanie. How can one complain to the one who is deeply disrespectful and belittling to others. Well guess what. Ownership is public knowledge and that’s my next step. Then ... read more

Golf Creek, an FPI property, is required under Oregon law (ORS 90.300) to charge reasonable hourly rates for move out fees. Golf Creek charged me $300 for move out fees for a clean apartment and then refused to provide the rates charged for how they arrived at these fees. They offered zero transparency into how they calculated "fees". They violated the law and dare you to sue them because they know they can get away abusing tenants. My advice is to not move into FPI Properties if you do not want to be surprised with unwa... read more

FPI took over the management of the Baldwin Hills Apts. They brought a Property Manager that is a convicted Burglar. 6 months later my apartment was Vandelized and looted. It started with Anthony Clark Jr. Stealing a $650.00 Camera when he came in to fix the heater. They filed false a eviction. FPI has no pride in service. There corporate culture cares very little about tenants or employees. They primary concern is making money, from my experience they will do anything to achieve their money making goals. File false insura... read more

I’m four years into my tenancy and squirm through the published 10% annual rent increase (per the lease) process with the property manager - which has taken up to 2 months to hear back. Anxiety? Stress? Sleeplessness? Feeling on edge all those weeks where am I going to live? Yep, each year. She has been professional handling it That said, this however does mean I have to try to convey to her and the she has to “take it back” to her regional person — I always ask how am I or anyone living at FPI Management properties going t... read more

When I moved in they did not paint, vacuum, nor bother to clean a damn thing! Now that my deposit is due back to me they say I owe up to $940!!! This place is a sham! You'll be hearing from my attorney on this matter you pieces of slum Lord shit hats!

FPI management contracted with Wilson Towing in 2019 to tow unregistered and unsolicited vehicles from the building. They provided stickers and temporary passes to residents to distinguish those belonging to the building as residents or visitors. However, Wilson towing has created predatory behavior, stalking vehicles, creating a uncomfortable feeling for residents, showing up in the middle of the day to prey on vehicles and then returning in the middle of the night, towing registered and visitor vehicles of the FPI manageme... read more
