If you want to bring your 10 year old daughter or granddaughter to the pool so she can swim with you this is not the club for you. Your daughter has to be 12 years old . They are the very RUDE. Every time I try to give them another chance. I can not believe the women are so mean. I leave upset every time. They get 0 for my rateing
The most unclean gym I've ever been to. – First of all...this place doesn't even deserve 1 star, but it made me select one....I was a member in 08 and had no issues at all. The gym was clean and a great place to work out, swim and lay out. I became a member again 2011 and it's just disgusting. Never clean. Absolutely NO customer loyalty! – I have been a member of Foxy's for over 12 years. Even though their facilities leave much to be desired, I've continued going due to the fact that I enjoy the "women only" location. Recently, I have fallen on difficult financial times (I am even behind on my mortgage at this point). I fell behind on my payments and the management wanted me to buy out my contract for $600. Not the Best – This location has poor management to say the least. A new eldery member who just joined to be able to do water aerobics for health reasons. The management took her money but neglected to tell her that the pool's heater had been broken for over 2 weeks now and no definite date for repair to be done. The heater goes out at least once per year and classes can't be held. Also, there's no regular maintenance so cleaning is not ongoing. Would not recommend due to contract! – The gym is great...never had a problem with the staff or anything....but of course everything is NEVER perfect!!! My husband received a job transfer in another state. I called 6 months in advance to find out what I would need to do to cancel. After the run a round a few times, I sent a copy of a lease and utility bills with my name on all of it. The first lady said that would be fine. Then, I get a letter saying proof of work. Nothing Compares – My experience at Foxys has been an adventure. I started out scared to step foot into a gym.... I was new to working out and never knew how to use any kind of equipment .. all I knew is I wanted my life back and I NEEDED to lose that weight. They have so many options and they actually put me with someone to help me figure out what exactly I needed. I'm so greatful to Foxys because I now feel like they are my second home and my friends. Love It!! – I have been at Foxy's for Women for years. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. They know my name and my son's name. He loves the nursery (he's almost 2). I got alot of help from the trainers when I was trying to lose the baby weight. I have gotten stronger and toned; I love the new me. Foxy's is always adding new programs or classes. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Thanks to these reviews, I'm NOT joining Foxy's – Thanks to all the posters who reviewed this health club and have saved me a lot of money and endless amounts of grief by the sound of things. I was moments away from joining Foxy's, which happens to be just down the street from where I live, but now I think I'll just keep on shopping around. I'm a firm believer in customer service and it sounds like Foxy's could care less, so I'll just keep my money and save myself needless headaches. Gee - I've improved my health already!
