What a great experience! Dr. Thornton is remarkable beyond his skills as physician and surgeon. I required surgery and follow up care. Without exception, he was focused, interested, and thorough. I truly appreciate the professional care he provided. Five stars are not enough.

My first and only visit with Dr. Thornton was abrupt, rushed, and uninformative. Upon entering the exam room, he would ask a question, let me speak barely a few words before cutting me off to move to his next question. I felt ignored-- I had pertinent information to give after weeks of dealing with the issues I was dealing with and my explanation of my symptoms seemed to be wasting his time. I have seen Dr. Thornton for my chronic sinus issues and will not see anyone else. I trust him completely.
Dr. Thornton successfully repaired a perforation in my nasal cavity that was questionable if it could be repaired due to it's size. A previous doctor wanted to place a plug in it and wasn't sure if fixing it would help due to it's size and I wasn't at ease with him. A fast in, what are you here for, ok, here's what we can do. Questions, bye. I made numerous calls to be ignored. Dr. Thornton answered any and all questions and listens. He and his staff are all professional, awesome and #1!
My wife convinced me that I needed to check in with an ENT regarding an ear/tongue surgery I had as a kid. I didn’t have old records, but he figured out exactly what I had done and was incredibly knowledgeable about it. We now have a plan set for future issues that may occur, and he’s the easy-going kind of guy that makes you feel comfortable at the doctors. Great experience.
One of the worst experiences. Waited for our first appointment for my son for over an hour for him to spend literally 90 seconds with us. Second appointment he maybe spent 2 minutes, though we didn't have to wait since we were the 1st appt of the day. The office staff messed up on scheduling several things, were rude over the phone while trying to get errors corrected. We won't return and would not recommend to anyone.
Dr. Thornton could not find my parathyroid tumor during surgery, and he took out half of my thyroid instead for no reason. Going for my second surgery soon with another doctor.
Everything was explained well. Surgery was quick and successful. All follow up questioned answered completely.
