He has been my neurologist since I first got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis & he’s always there to answer any questions I have, help with all my medicine, & anything else I need he’s been there!
Dr Fox is the most knowledgeable neurologist for treating MS! I’m a physician and appreciate his thorough explanations of findings, treatment recommendations including risks/benefits and new treatments on The horizon. He and his nurse practitioner Stephanie Agrella are both receptive to discussion of supplements, medications as well as diet that are helpful in treating MS. His MA Rochelle is very helpful and friendly as well. We are fortunate to have Dr Fox in the Austin area!
Dr. Fox came highly recommended by my former neurologist. I have found him to be highly knowledgeable, and he takes ample time to answer questions. What he lacks in an easy bedside manner he more than makes up in experience, information, and results. I cannot imagine seeing a more qualified physician in the entire Austin area. The office staff is professional and personable. It seems his assistant may be overextend, but his nurse practitioner is spot on. Great job! Give these people a raise!
I have been an MS patient of Dr. Fox for a number of years now, even as a "self pay" patient as CTNC is not covered by my health insurance. Dr. Fox is incredibly knowledgeable about MS and the current state of disease modifying agents. He patiently listens to my long-winded stories that are slow to come to a point. He takes copious notes on each visit, and considers the long-term experience during each session. He has worked hard to find the right meds for me. I trust his diagnoses 1000%!
I was referred by a wonderful doctor in another town to Dr Fox, but I am extremely dissatisfied. I have seen him and his PA and felt as if both of them were just trying to get me to leave from the moment they stepped in the door. Neither cared to listen to me about my symptoms, which was reflected in their notes they discussed with me.
You get treated like a dollar bill! You don't get treated like a patient, definitely not one suffering from a debilitating disease. They discuss your business right in the waiting area and don't care about your privacy!
PATIENTS BEWARE: YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO FIRE YOUR DR. AND SHOP AROUND FOR ANOTHER!! Worst Neuro I've ever seen. Rude staff, especially nurse Lori. He thinks he knows it all about MS. Well, he doesn't. I would be dead or immobile in a nursing home had I stayed in his care. He lies and doesn't care about his patients. You are just a number and a lab rat. Thankfully I found an austin Neuro who doesn't specialize in MS, but he goes to bat for me when it's needed and I'm doing better than ever.
years ago Dr Fox was treating me for seizures. Dr Fox treated me for 1 year and found out that I needed surgery to stop the seizures. I had the surgery and have been seizure free for 17+ years and off all medication for 15+ years.
