Moving here from a larger city I feel like the restaurant selections are minuscule in Hickory. When I 1st dined at Fourk two years ago I was elated and feel the same way today. The menu has the traditional fused with the contemporary. The food always tastes fresh and delicious! The cocktail list is creative, the wine list is plentiful, and the beer list offers the best from some of North Carolina’s breweries. Never again! Went there for Valentines day dinner. Fourk and Southern Bloom sold us 6 roses on valentines day for $35 and they died on day 3. After calling for 6 weeks, I finally spoke to a manager and was told that I didn't take care of them. Seriously? My walmart roses that I bought on the same day lasted 2 weeks. I was a frequent customer, but never again.
We were in Hickory for the weekend and was celebrating my husband’s 42nd birthday. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was outstanding and I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
Erica worked with me in November for a surprise engagement dinner for my fiancé and I. She went above and beyond and the night turned out perfect. Everyone working that night was also looped into what I was expecting and the service we received was truly outstanding.
