Amazing luxury hotel in the heart of Austin. Note: Didn't pay for the stay so no commentary on the actual value. The Four Seasons Austin is an institution as far back as I can remember in Austin when it was the only luxury hotel in town. Located right next to the river, overlooking the congress street bats as well. A bit off from dining or other drinking venues, but downtown austin isn't big enough that a 10 minute walk can't get you to where you want to go. I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of the front desk welcome staff. They were dismissive and showed no respect toward ……... Excellent facilities mean nothing if the service is this poor. I would not recommend staying here until the management improves their staff training."

We had a very disappointing experience with your security staff member, Narlin. After leaving the restroom, he accused us of trespassing and asked us to leave, despite the fact that we had been dining at the restaurant earlier. Once we proved this, he walked away without apologizing. When I asked for an apology, he said he could address us however he wanted because he was security. This behavior was rude and unprofessional. Even trained dogs are taught to distinguish who to bark at — I expected better judgment and profession... read more
