Stayed here for 1 night in Aug 2025. Upon arrival (11pm), the front desk clerk had subpar customer service skills. She handed me my room key and told me the elevators are to the left. Nothing about breakfast, wifi, check out time... The hotel is quite old, as evidence of the rickety elevator, but they have tried to improve the common areas and rooms. There's no way I'd come back. Fortunately, I'm not staying at this hotel right now. Milwaukee is a great city, but my experience was definitely ruined by the staff at this hotel, despite its great reputation. The front desk employee named Brian took an unreasonably long time to come out of his office to assist with my check-in. Moreover, he mocked me for mistakenly providing the wrong address. Older hotel... room smelled musty, pillows were horrible, sheets were rough, one of the two elevators was out. Would not recommend staying here.
I have stayed here multiple times and each time it seems to get a little more run down. The breakfast buffet was not very good. Waffles were hard, fruit seemed to come out of a can. Bed was very hard (usually has been soft). Hot tub looked very dirty. Did not even want to go in. Obly had 1 working elevator.
