I would stay away at all cost. We used them as a general vet for a while. One day my Dog had an emergency where he sliced himself open from shoulder to hind leg. I rushed my Dog there first thing in the morning only to have them tell me they had other appointment and were unable to see him. On top of that they charged me a vet visit only to look at him briefly long enough to tell me they didn't have the time to stitch him up. Keep in mind this was quite a severe incident. Stay away!!!

I think the clinic is great- I really like the front office staff and office manager. They are really helpful and really friendly. I appreciate their rewards program which is helpful when you have multiple pets.

Four Paws Animal Hospital has always been on point with the diagnosis on whatever our pets have had with their illness - never been wrong. The entire staff is beyond professional and friendly, they treat you like family. We've been coming here for 8 years now and plan on continuing as long as we live in Virginia. I've trusted 4 Paws for years. First with SweetCheeks and now with Biscuit. There were three other Centers before 4 Paws. But none of them compare with the attention, willingness, thoroughness and completeness of their exams and hospitality. I expect to be with them as long as I have a pet. Plus, I refer anyone who inquires to them i.e., Nextdoor Lake Land'Or.

Edited to add that apparently because of my negative review, we were brought into a private room to be harassed by the office manager. Apparently we are young enough for them to accept my $403 payment but not young enough to understand how life works. Any "business" that harasses you about negative reviews is a poorly run "business" in my opinion. I regret that there seems to have been a series of misunderstandings.
I took my dog in on Monday and the vet who saw her said she had an ear infection, but her ear was too swollen to apply the drops. Vet gave a steroid and said schedule to come back in 3 days and there would be no charge for that visit to put the drops in my dog's ear. Went back on Thursday, they tried to charge me $98!! The first visit was $117. I tried to explain to the incompetent staff that the vet on Monday said there would be no charge. I ended up having to pay $40. Never going back.
