I ignored the reviews from a few friends, and went ahead and took ok my dog here. I regret doing so. Not so much for the care, to which I cannot attest firsthand since my husband witnessed that, but more for the lack of compassion and empathy we’ve received. They couldn’t even stay open a few extra minutes for all of us to be able to get there to say goodbye to our furry family member of 13 years.
RecommendedGreat veterinarian and staff! Dr. Whitlow is the best for my four dogs. Always explains what ever in detail. Very thorough.
Beware of the kennel here. Dropped our dog off for a week here in great health, and picked her up with a bandage on her tail. Was told by the vet that she had scraped her tail wagging against the kennel wall. Not very believable but took it at face value since it was a "scrape" . Took the bandage off today to find her tail is broken! Took her out to be examined and get an explanation and was told she must have broken it after she left there.....inside the bandage they had put on, by wagging it so hard! This was my first ever visit with a vet with my two furbabies. To say both Champ & Jonah were a bit nervous is an understatement. The staff took excellent care of us. They were kind & quick with the services provided today! I would recommend anyone looking for a vet to come see them. We just found ours! Thank You Four Paws!!
I've been bringing my pets here since I moved to Lagrange 7 years ago. The staff is amazing! My dog actually loves to go to Four Paws. I've never had a pet that likes to go to the vet. They treat your animals like they're family and look after the human parents when we're upset about our fur babies as well. It's also a great place to board your babies while you're away. They take care of them like their own. I couldn't ask for a better veterinarian than Dr. Whitlow!
I just want to thank each and everyone of you at the office for being there with my husband and I as I had to put my sweet Jax to sleep. It was such a hard emotional day. You were very kind and a special thanks to Dr Whitlow for helping me to make the right decision and not letting him suffer any longer. I just wanted you to know how much I greatly appreciate your office.
We are new to the area. Four paws did everything they could for our 13 year old sweet Lilly girl. We had to make the tough decision yesterday and the staff there was amazing! I had to bring my boys with me and they kept them entertained in another room while I had to say my goodbyes. They were compassionate, thorough and very understanding. I would highly recommend this place to anyone I know! THANK YOU so much from the bottom of our hearts for your help! We are very grateful to have found this place! �
