Actually, no persons in this story are named "Barrett", but I thought it catchy so it stays. As we begin, I find it fair to say I am enameled of Hammer and Bonin. Canine be frank? I've been to other dentists, with simolar environs: hushed waiting room, a few gadgets to occupy children's minds (I think... couldn't figure them out), various magazines... tongues of fun. The BEST dentist I've ever seen! It occurred to me when I left the office yesterday that, like many others, I have a dental horror story. Mine involves an 8-year-old girl (me), a dentist with a drill, a shattered tooth, and lots of blood and pain, which left me with a white-knuckle fear of dental visits for MANY years. Now I am retired and have gone to Dr. Hammer and Bonin's office for 7+ years, and I have absolutely NO fear about appointments there.
