We wanted a tire re-torqued that Fountain Tire had installed several weeks ago. (Fountain Tire offers a free re-torquing after 100 kms on a new tire.) We stopped by the Victoria location, and one of their staff members took care of us right away. Thank you!!
Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. Take your business elsewhere. I had my front tires replaced at Fountain Tire, only to find out soon after that all the lug nuts were extremely overtightened. Because of this, two nuts became stripped, and one simply would not come off. Fountain Tire was closed, so I took the car to a local tire and oil change shop to hep with the stuck lug nut, where even with professional tools like impact guns and breaker bars, the nut did not come off. I got the BEST service ever. My car was at a garage nearby for repairs and Fountain tire staff agreed to pick up my car for me from that garage and then do the work needed. I was so grateful and I know that is hard to manage with staff having to drive there and back so really really made my life easier and much appreciated!! Thank you! I will for sure come back!
Fountain Tire on Douglas in Victoria went above and beyond. Bought a set of Goodyear tires a year ago from Fountain Tire a couple years back and had a blow out due to user error. The team at Fountain sourced the tire that was discontinued from TEXAS! The team kept me informed as the tire shipped to arrival and when I went back in for the install, the additional checks that were done were greatly appreciated. My car broke down in a city I do not know. Because I'd experienced Fountain Tire's professional conduct and fair treatment in North Vancouver, they were the first place I went. My repair sat on the edge of find money to repair or scrap the vehicle. Gabriel in the office was outstanding. So were the mechanics in the shop where my car rested while I deliberated on how my axle got bent when it wasn't hit. Everyone had their opinion as you'd expect.
