Fount has some really good options, and I especially like stopping in for their egg tacos. Unfortunately, the consistency has been pretty poor for a while now. The egg tacos are around $7, which would be fine if the portion and quality were consistent. Sometimes they’re filling and a good size, but you can definitely tell when they’re rushing. It’s maybe better during non peak hours but I went around 11 on a Saturday, waiting 30-40 mins for one coffee and by the time they gave it to me it was watered down, the cold foam I paid extra for was melted and no apology for the wait. Not worth $8 and we’ve lost the plot on service
I am giving them a one star because I purchased what I thought was a charcuterie board which I saw they were known for. This was my first time ordering something from them. I went in and one of the employees walked me through ordering online. I told her what size I wanted and all I wanted on there because I am a vegetarian. Stopped in for an iced caramel latte and the ham croissant this morning. They were busy but still so welcoming and friendly. The place has a great calm vibe. They also thanked us on the way out, which is so lovely and hardly ever occurs anymore anywhere else. We are definitely returning!
The best black sesame latte you can get in Dallas. Also try the pastries and breakfast tacos. Service was great! This little cafe is cute and is located in an old house. My partner was convinced there’s ghosts there. Fount also gives you high quality durable and absorbent napkins with drinks and food.
