Got to take a tour of the facility last week. I was really impressed by the size of the facility the amount of programs and services available for folks in recovery and seeking recovery.
I was exhausted, but so much more informed about the new job I got as Peer Support Specialist!!!

After EVERYTHING that I DID for THIS COMPANY, THEY FIRED ME BECAUSE THEY SAID THAT I WAS ON DRUGS & ALCOHOL WHICH WAS NOT TRUE & TO MAKE IT WORSE, THEY DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME & DRUG TEST ME TO SEE IF THERE WAS A CONCERN, WHICH I WOULD'VE PASSED BTW, IN FACT THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS MY WORK PERFORMANCE, WHICH WAS ALSO NOT TRUE. In MY EYES (EVEN IF I HAD RELAPSED) THEY DID NOTHING TO REACH OUT TO HELP ME & WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN RECOVERY THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND & KNEW THAT I AM DUAL-DIAGNOSED & DID NOT ADDRESS THAT.
