Dr hays shows a lack of education and experience in trauma informed care. He is very good with meds. But is not person centered, and is unwilling to make treatment adjustments to match the needs of the patient. Being good with meds just isnt good enough.
Dr. Hays is very informed when it comes to chronic illness and psychiatry. Safe and successful pharmaceutical usage with therapy is always practiced, and he knows that white-knuckling through isn't the answer. His knowledge of how the brain and body works in illness changed my life in a really good way, and he's a collaborative Doctor who puts the patients priorities in the top along with necessary concerns.
