When I go for my exam I got wonderful service. Treated with respect and courtesy. This is why I give them high praise. This means nothing when I was assured that when I asked for documentation of my exam and Dr.'s notes for medical evaluation and forwarded to primary care physician. This was asked several times and was assured to be done. Dr. Steele has refused to do so. His claim is because he forgot. They are good eye doctors.Can tell by the way they ask questions about how things are going and will always ask if I have any questions
The national average cost for an eye exam for glasses is $85. These guys want $188! There is no sliding scale even though the community they "serve" is extremely poor. Even if you are well off or have insurance, please support professionals and businesses who aren't greedy and offer low cost alternatives to those who need it. These guys don't.

I had an appointment last week to have my eye exam. This was my first appointment with these Dr's and I must say that it was a great experience. Everyone that I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. From the receptionist who was so helpful considering I had forgotten my referral at home, to the tech who did my eye exam (loved her laugh), to Dr Steele who made me feel very comfortable and gave me the awesome news that my vision is 20/20, and that using reading glasses will not hurt my eyes in any way. First visit was great! Follow up visit was awful!! Waited for over an hour and a half to even get in a room. Then another half hour to be seen! They should consider calling patients if they are running that far behind. My time is valuable. Didn't appreciate the lack of communication
I have been going to see Dr. Forrester since I was a child. He is by far the best optometrist in the country.
