Always delicious! Never disappoints. Love the Gouda balls, the grits bowl - everything. Specialty cocktails are very creative and delicious.
We dined there during our mini honeymoon in Lake Rabun and were thoroughly impressed with the food and the service. The bartender did an excellent job of coming up with a delicious mocktail that I could drink. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gladly gave advice on what he thought the best options would be depending on our individual preferences. We go through Clayton every time we visit our property in Murphy NC from our home in Charleston. We’ve always wanted to stop and check it. We finally did. We had a great lunch at the bar and Carlton was the cherry on top. He’s a master. We’re definitely looking forward to our next visit.
It is our favorite restaurant ever! My wife and I make up special occasions just so we can drive up from Gainesville. We will be there this weekend!
Wow! We went to Lake Burton so that we could see the leaves changing colors and were told by some family members to check you out and I sure am glad that we did! It was incredible! We had amazingly personable servers ... Paisley at Fortify Pi and Chase at Fortify Kitchen and Bar. And the food was EXCELLENT beyond words. Whenever we come up to Lake Burton we'll definitely come back. Thank you!
Made reservations for my husband's birthday and we weren't disappointed! Love the atmosphere and food here. The staff delivers impeccable service and the owner, Jack was friendly and made sure we enjoyed everything. We ordered the Filet Mignon and the Grit Bowl.. both delicious. A GREAT selection of wines, also. You have to try Pastry Chef Kelsey Marie McCracken's delicious Chocolate Tart with Caramel sauce and ice cream. And just read that Georgia Eats named this a Top 5 plate! Really enjoyed our night here.
Great treasure that we found! Food was DELICIOUS! Definitely will be making that 3 hour drive again!! Our waiter was the best, Jermey. So sweet and very attentive!
