This is the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had; even worse than when I had to leave a hotel because a meth lab was busted a few rooms away and when I stayed in a place with no running water. I could repeat all of the negative comments below, but Im not going to waste my time. Lets just say that my husband and I left within 3 hours of checking in and felt as if we had just escaped from some horrible atrocity. This place will be closed in the next year. This place is awful. There customer service is terrible. There is definitely not any sort of customer satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your service they feel no obligation to their customers. I do not know how they stay in business.
not thing to like about this place. not polite and really rude staff. dirty rooms with mold around the bathrooms and bugs in bed that bit us . not getting any room service like towels and shampoo for hours after calling for them. very cold water in park that does not let you enjoye it plus it is to crowded any way to enjoy it. they have had busy busy days and still have not come up with a plan to help coustumers. they should have known that they get to busy on weekend and school breaks and get prepared for it but nop. Stayed over night Fri and Sat. Friday was alright. Saturday was not. So many people, could not even get a tube the entire day. Line up for the slides were extremely long. Thery ran out of food and drinks at the water park.Kids were very disappointed after having a great day on Friday. Dont go on a saturday. if you are traveling, stay at a hotel near by and go for a day pass to the water park. We will never stay there overnight on a weekend again.
The waterpark itself was alot of fun. My 5 year old son loved the 4 story interactive play area. The rudeness of the staff is what I had a problem with. We wont be going back. We traveled 99.5 miles to have our day of fun turn into nothing more than frustration.
June 18th to the 20th 2009'This was our fourth trip to Fort Rapids Water Park. I can't complain about any of the stays. A few times things didn't go perfect and we were not always treated as kings and queens but all in all every trip has been a blast and our two kids have enjoyed it. I stay in hotels 22 nights a month, and the things that happen here, happen everywhere. Was promised a cheater rate when the reservations were made. When we checked in, the price was \$33 higher. Totally unacceptable!!! If it werent for me and my guest being at Mt. Carmel Hospital all day, we would have drove back home. All luggage/guests goes in/out the same door! Hated this!! Poor service at the resturant inside. Ordered appetizers, never got them. I cant imagine that anyone would write an approving review of this place; unless they were owners or management. This place has the most horrid service, provided by the most hapless and apethetic employees that I have ever dealt with in my 43 years. The good: The slides and waterpark area were fun. Thats it...everything else was terrible. After getting in our room (after and hour wait to check in), we had 2 towels for 4 people, no coffemaker, and no ice bucket.
