If you are thinking about taking your family here don t do it. We had roaches in our room. The employees was rude that worked at the bar. The place was over booked and the water park was so packed we couldn t even take our kids. FIND other place to take your family this sucks and not worth the money.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience in my entire life. We has to change rooms 3 times because the air conditioning was messed up, none of the microwaves worked in any of the 3 rooms and was very inconvenient with a 2 year old child. We had housekeeping service ONCE during our stay, even with us requesting service we did not recieve any. The staff was rude and inconsiderate! Not worth your time or money !! We stayed on a Saturday, which was our first mistake, It was really busy and lines were really long. Sunday was a lot less crowded. When I made an online reservation I clicked a smoking room, when we arrived they only had non-smoking available that night. The rooms were decent however our heater just blew out cold air. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. I found the lifeguards to be TOO active - I was literally standing over my 2.5 year old daughter and if she fell over in the water, the lifeguard tried to save her - even though I was a foot away and she was in no danger. Now THAT is a lifeguard doing their job (even though Id prefer they back off a bit). I was very upset to see dirty work practices at Fort Rapids. I work in the food business so I feel that I know what Im talking about here. The snack bar inside the actual water park was most likely breaking about 5 food safety rules/laws. For one, the people running the stand had extremely poor work practices in how they spoke and handled customers. Worst experience ever!!!! Never again. Lazy lifeguards, dirty hotel room, rudest management staff I have ever came in contact with!!! Stay away and dont waste your money!!!
Last minute decided to getaway for Labor Day Weekend. Searched the internet and came across Fort Rapids Waterpark. Decided to suprise our 13 & 16 yr olds with a mystery trip. Called the resort to make reservations, fantastic deal on loft room, which included many extras, because it was "Customer Appreciation Weekend".
