Terrible customer service. The airport & bathrooms are dirty. I wouldn’t want to use this airport again!
Just left a cruise ship just like hundreds of other people and we’re too early for our flight, so we can’t get through check-in and security. Now we all just have to wait. The big problem is that FLL won’t provide its customers enough seating, so many of us have to sit on the floor. I’m sure this happens a lot and FLL isn’t going to do anything about it.
This airport is a joke....terrible. People are always standing or sitting on the floor because there is no where to sit. There are 3 choices at most to eat in the Delta terminal (and if you want to sit to eat be prepared to wait 45 minutes) and I can’t even go online because the WiFi is so lousy. Worst experience out of any airport in the country, and almost always like this. I remember more than once standing in line for over an hour to check a bag. Just terrible
Needs better airport information signs and navigation. Walking to get from international terminal to anywhere.is far and difficult for older passengers and children. Educate employees so they give accurate information. This is painful and time consuming. I do not recommend this airport for international travelers.
It's also considered a main airport so you can fly direct instead of connecting to another main airport when booking international flights and it's a lot less busy then Miami. Easy to get in and easy to get out. Your experience may be good or bad depending on who you fly with. I know most of those workers at Spirits check-ins need to be investigated due to their unprofessional character flaws. They are the worst bunch of people I've ran into since flying out of there.
