Warning, do not send your loved ones child anyone you care about to this horrible disgusting place with hateful people that are rude and curse you out. If there was a score of -5, I would give it to this hospital, yesterday they discharged my relative, the day before I spoke with relative, I told them that he was still unstable, I told them that he was not yet ready to leave and they told me that he had to leave straight to a mental health program, the social worker did not help me find a solution but she did recommend another person who was charging me us$8.000 per month, the moment my relative saw that the door was open he ran across the street without caring that the car... read more

This concern is in regards to my family member, an adolescent intake approximately 12:15a on Saturday 2/10, previous stay at Memorial West Hospital 9:00a on Friday 2/9. I have made several attempts to contact someone inside Ft Lauderdale Behavioral Center with my concerns. Julie Martha Lauder (Head of risk management) violated multiple patients right by performing strip searches and raid patients rooms.She brought multiple nurse supervisors that threatened to beat us up and inject us with medication.

If I get give them less stars I would. Do not go here if you have other options. My daughter has been going here for outpatient for about 4 months. So far the doctor who is supposed to be seen via phone has missed two appointments without any notice or calls that he will not be available, meanwhile I am waiting for him to call for 45 minutes each time. They never refill the medications (even though we have met with the doctor) unless you call them daily to ask about status of refill. I have been waiting two weeks for my... read more

I join the long list of negtive reviews, one star rating too high but the lowest I can choose - negative 10 more accurate. Per the other 200+ reviews - do NOT to send anyone who needs legitimate mental health services to this place. If you are homeless, desperate, no where else to go, need a meal so don't mind if the place is dirty, then this may be the place for you. Brian almost killed my spirit with what he wrote about my character in his intensive outpatient patient discharge summary about me, So not fair to give someone the power of a pen. that isn't 100% truthful .. I'm going to make it through this as a strong sober women of grace and dignity no matter what!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Very unprofessional and lack of cleanliness. I dropped off a brand new pair of slides for my son and they were stolen from him. Immediately after, I called repeatedly for authority to straighten out this issue and there was noone that cared. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
