Very enjoyable experience. Many delicious brews to choose from. They do sell 6 pack cans for home. The atmosphere was great and dogs on a leash are welcome. There was a food truck outside (Myers Catering) with very tasty burgers among other choices. We enjoyed the band (Time Strechers). However the house PA system needs work. Can't understand why people have to bring their dogs to an indoor venue, one even unleashed. Could be a safety issue with older folks as a trip hazard. Leave your dog home!
Same story with these local breweries, they put out good product to get you hooked, then they start making changes. Probably for the bottom dollar and then the beer goes down hill. This is exactly what happened with fort hill. I've tried over and over now and all the beers taste stale, under carbonated, and the lagers are cloudy... How do you claim to be a German inspired brewery putting out cloudy lagers?
I’ve been a longtime supporter of Fort Hill, but lately the consistency has been really disappointing. Fresh Pick used to be my go-to beer — bright, citrusy, and balanced. Now it’s unfortunately one I actively avoid. The last few packs have been flat in flavor and nowhere near what it used to be. Farmer’s Fresh tasted like wet cardboard with no real pine or citrus character. It came across dull and possibly old.
