Waited 45 days for the appraisal, the day before the appraisal, the appraiser declined due to subject complexity. When the appraisal was scheduled, I submitted their property questionnaire and included an appraisal done 2 years ago. I can understand an appraiser saying it's beyond their scope but why did I have to wait 45 days to find out? This puts my refinance loan in jeopardy. They came out for appraisal and seemed very professional but after two weeks, said they weren't qualified to complete the appraisal on my property. I wish they would have known they weren't qualified when they stepped foot in my house, would have save us all a lot of time and money. Now, I might be left in the lurch and subject to an expired interest rate. Very disappointed.
