Planned my whole day around this class. Instructor was a no show. I waited 30 min and no one ever showed up. A woman who called me back said she would offer me a free class the next day. I was visiting from out of town so that wasn’t possible. They never took me off the list and ClassPass marked me as missing the class lol. Couldn’t even bother to not ding me even though their instructor never showed. Wild.
Decided I would go to my first Pilates class, super excited to start my Pilates Journey. My first early morning mat Pilates. Instant regret. I left this Pilates studio feeling really uncomfortable. During my session, I felt that the instructor, Kaile, made comments about my body that came across as judgmental rather than supportive. This studio has the most welcoming environment for a workout class that I’ve ever attended. Maria is a phenomenal instructor and is very patient and kind. The studio is very intentionally intimate and Maria offers hands-on correction to make sure everyone is comfortable and has good form. This was my first Pilates class ever and Maria and her students cultivated an amazing experience for me. I will definitely be returning and becoming a regular!
Forrest Pilates is wonderful! This space is perfect for beginners and experienced Pilates and yoga students. The space is beautiful, cozy; and makes you feel safe and comfortable. Maria is an incredible instructor/owner, and her Tower Pilates classes are becoming a cherished weekly ritual of mine. Maria focuses on classical Pilates technique and mind body connection. You will leave sessions feeling connected to your body, strong, stretched, and empowered!
