great vet i took my dog there to get fixed and he was wonderfull with my dog it was like my dog was his and that is how he treated our family dog. i like that in a doc or vet. grea tplace to take animals.
Visit was so Great I took my Shih Zhu there for evaluation and further surgery, could not be more pleased with the concern and interation of all the staff.The Office was extremely clean and the whole visit was just such a success. C Watson
Forrest Avenue Animal Hospital...Great vet!!! I have only used Forrest Avenue once but Dr. Harper will be my vet choice from now on. She is easy to work with and understand. She offered lots of help and ideas to me about my horses and goats. She recently responded to the farm of a friend on an emergency call and was knowledgeable and skillful and precise in her treatmant of the animals... It was a very happy ending for all!! Thanks for sharing your expertise Dr. Harper!!!!
RecommendedBeing new to the area, I was a bit apprehensive about finding a new vet for my babies. I'd had my vet in NY for many years and need someone with a good bedside manner. My boxer had a new skin issue and they were able to give me a quick appointment. Upon arrival, we went over all of my concerns and after examination of my boy, they thoroughly explained everything to me (along with prices which really helps) in a very calm, caring, professional manner. Caring professionals. They treat your pets like family. Dr Henry is top notch. I’ve been bringing Castle here since July 2015. Taz since Feb 2018. And when we had to let Springer cross the rainbow bridge ( Springer Feb 23 2019-Nov 13 2020) they were amazing with us during this time
My fur baby came in for a broken/split nail that was bleeding and causing him pain. He isn't friendly with other dogs & they 10000% accommodated that which was super awesome! He loved the Tech and Dr. Gaines was awesome! Highly recommend!!

I can’t say enough great things about Forest Avenue Hospital. The receptionist when I called was so understanding and after explaining Cooper’s issues said she thought the Doctor would want to see him. She promptly called me back and he had an appointment that day. He is a large cat(23 lb) and not very friendly but the vet and assistants were incredible! Great place to bring your pets for grooming or check ups. They really care about them and give them excellent care. My pug struggled with ear infections for years. When we moved down here Dr. Henry had them cleared up in a couple of months.
