The car is amazing. Switching from a sports car is like jumping into hyperspace. The warm up lap in the FM was the same time as a hot lap in a sports car. Ten laps later, eight more seconds were gone. The steering is intuitive, the brakes linear and the car is remarkably forgiving given the pace. Very confidence inspiring and as such, a great way to improve your skills. As far as coaching and race support go, Texas Autosports is a pro level experience. Moses has coached and supported a long list of winning race drivers.
The best racing and driving experience for any driver looking at starting open wheel. It can't be beat!
FM is a great car to test and advance your driving skills. Whether you are young and advancing from the karting ranks or just starting later in life and want to experience some fantastic tracks around the U.S. it's a great class to start in open wheel. Parts are readily available , motors are inexpensive to run. And they sound kool.
