When we stepped inside the cafe the waitress was not friendly at all. She had a sourpuss look on her face the entire time she served us and she made us feel uncomfortable, like we weren't welcomed. She never smiled once the entire time we were there. When our food finally came, we were the only ones there and it took longer than usual, our food was cold. Delicious Food, Cafe De Olla was the best I have had, the music was good and I liked the atmosphere. We did wait a little too long for our food, but that's what happens in a small and busy restaurant. I didn't mind the wait, I was enjoying the music and time with my family.

Superb menu, very fresh ingredients! Delicious food takes time to prepare, very nice relaxing sunday morning feel ambiance! Glad we have this little gem in Uptown Whittier to enjoy wonderful, fresh, unique wonderfully executed dishes!
Food was great. Service was terrible. Dirty water cups, waited about 45 mins for food. People who ordered after us got their food first. Didn't mention about free refills on drinks. Never came back once to update us on our food or refills on our iced down drinks. So disappointed !
