I tried the rueben sandwich. The corned beef was very dry. I asked for more 1000 island dressing and was never brought to the table. I had to ask the hostess for it then. The service was bad all around. This was the first time and probably the last!
I haven't been to this restaurant in years and when my friends wanted to take me I was curious to see the place since they reopened. I loved it!! The food was amazing, the vibe was great and service was right on point. It reminded me a lot of the upcoming places in Chicago where I live now. Very surprised to find a gem like this in Mukwonago!! Definitely will be going back every time I come back to my home town to visit my Dad!
We ordered a small cod fish fry and a perch fish fry. Both came out over cooked and the cod was definitely frozen since it just oozed nasty juice all over. They give you a tiny slice of bread, bland coleslaw and a tiny amount of fish (not that it was worth eating). It was our first and last time at Fork in the Road.
Awful service. There is no reason to make two young children wait 1 hr and 20 minutes to get mac and cheese. When our order arrived incorrect, we had asked to speak to the owner. He never once came out to talk to us. The food is expensive to be served the wrong items and for it to take 1 hr and 20 min for the food to arrive. Love it here. Never had a bad dish and servers are always great.
My husband and I just ate some lunch here and it was delicious! The owner seated us immediately and he was great. He sold us on his favorite menu items and they didn't disappoint. The brisket sandwich and apple coleslaw were amazing. I had the fish tacos and the homemade chips. The chips were addicting. I know that it was very busy last night but I ordered food and the waitress did not even ask me how the food was until I was done eating. I also noticed that the owner walked around and asked everyone how was everything but since I was sitting by myself did not. Lastly the food is ok, very pricey and what about the smiley attitude from everyone, that did not happen!
Great food... However, the customer service here absolutely does not match the quality of food. We made a reservation of 9 and they would not allow us to sit until every one of us were "in the building," as the hostess stated. Because only 8 of us were there at first, we had to stand in the crowded hostess/bar area blocking the entire aisle.
