We attended a social security info dinner at a local restaurant hosted by Cetera. It was nice to validate some info we had but there was one glaring mistake on one of the topics and accompanying slide. They were pitching that social security recipients who opted for early retirement prior to age 67 did not receive COLA increases each year. That they don’t kick in until age 67 which is totally incorrect. The SSA website clearly states that they begin at age 62. Otherwise the guy did a good job.
