"ASK ABOUT ALL PRICES!" That's what they told us when they sent us a $900 bill for three flu tests. My three children have gone to Forest Park Pediatrics since they were born. However, last year during a sick visit, the attending physician, Dr. Christina Ruby-Ziegler ordered two flu tests during a visit (two of my kids were sick). I trusted the doctor that this test would be helpful in treating my children. They did not tell me that it would cost $300 each (our Insurance Anthem Blue Cross paid $10.57 per test). ... read more
